Cape Town & Winelands Hideaways
Cape Town, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, is the perfect place to start or finish your holiday with its fantastic hotels, excellent shopping, plenty of bars and restaurants. The Winelands are within easy reach and a must-see for the stunning scenery, historic towns, wonderful Cape-Dutch architecture and the world-renowned vineyards. Hire a car and drive the Garden Route with its spectacular forests, mountains and beaches, and charming, small hotels dotted along the way.
If you would like to combine a safari with a stay in Cape Town or the Winelands it is worth considering the Malaria free Eastern Cape. Here Shamwari, Gorah and Kariega are the perfect options without flying up to the Kruger.

Kensington Place
Cape Town
|
|
Cape Town excels in fantastic boutique hotels and this is the best of all of those. We absolutely love it and it is where we stay when we visit Cape Town.
Kensington Place has a great central location, stunning views of Table Mountain, beautifully designed rooms and wonderful service. With just nine rooms the atmosphere is informal yet exclusive. The owner Chris has done an incredible job of making KP both spoiling and relaxing.

This pretty hotel with bright airy rooms offers great value for money and makes a lovely alternative to its neighbour Kensington Place. Although it doesn’t have its own restaurant this is no drawback since Cape Town is about eating out. The inner courtyard with its own plunge pool is the perfect spot for breakfast on a sunny day.
