This is probably our favourite safari lodge in South Africa. For us it offers excellent value, while having more activities available than many of its more expensive counterparts. The Makalali Game Reserve is home to four of the Big Five (it does not have buffalo) and while of course normal game drives by vehicle are offered it is the additional activities that make this lodge so incredible.
